a fairly standard stay
firm bedcamera system
The bed was firmer than i prefer. i also noticed several cameras throughout the common areas. I felt a bit watched. the breakfast ordering system also was a bit much. I only wanted a simple coffee and toast, i didn't really need a questionnaire for it..

i loved the breakfast it had such a good choice i think i had something different every day you select your breakfast for the following day the day before it is cooked fresh and served at the time requested the staff are also friendly and helpful i felt immediately welcome and at home
the room didn't have shutters and the curtains didn't block the daylight waking me up very early also either you sleep with the ac blowing directly on you or you open the windows but you hear the neighbors watching tv at night and the children in the nearby sports field in the morning

Pauline and Charlie were AMAZING hosts. The breakfast options included loads of choices. The food was REALLY delicious. The place was spotlessly clean, and my room was comfortable. I appreciated the pool with a jacuzzi.
I noticed some street noise early in the morning. Lighter sleepers might want earplugs.

The hotel is close to many attractions, like Mdina, and there's easy car access plus ample street parking. The hotel is also near Rabat piazza with restaurants and bars. Made everything very convenient. I walked everywhere.

The hotel offered a sun deck plus a pool with a jacuzzi, THAT was very nice. I had access to clean towels near the pool area, which i appreciated. The hotel provided a keycard in a box upon arrival. This made for a smooth check-in.

Breakfast includes an a la carte menu and many choices, so I had a GREAT variety. Everything I ordered for breakfast was cooked perfectly. The coffee pod machine in my room was also a bonus for early mornings.

The breakfast menu seemed limited, i expected more local options. the coffee machine in the room was difficult to operate. The instructions were unclear. the shower temperature fluctuated a lot. It made showering annoying.

a tender escape in a dreamy space
fantastic hostreally good decorroyal treat
pauline and charles are hosts. the hotel decorations are really good, they radiate comfort. breakfast reminded me of a royal treat, they gave me great restaurant recommendations and we had a fantastic meal.

the bed was comfortable the balcony overlooked the town.
i found the breakfast system quite rigid a questionnaire was required each day. the pool water was unheated this made swimming uncomfortable. dozens of security cameras were positioned throughout the hotel this felt somewhat intrusive.
