splendid revisited stay
king upgrade attentive staff superb afternoon
the staff treated us like royalty. afternoon tea in the thames foyer proved faultless. Even the unconventional sandwiches tasted unreal. solas bar was a delight, with great music filling the evening air.
the bath plug didn't fit properly, causing a slight water leak, solved with toilet roll.

every staff member was so nice, ensuring a nice and special stay for my wife's significant birthday, demonstrating great attentiveness and personalized service, though small, added to my overall delight.

separate sinks rainfall shower
my one-bedroom suite featured thoughtful amenities. i found two separate sinks a great convenience, and i appreciated the rainfall shower.
I noticed the socket near the bedside table was a little jammed. It made charging my phone slightly inconvenient.

Amazing Hotel with Really good Service
amazing hotel wonderful staff birthday cake
I can't stress enough how amazing this hotel is. Staff are wonderful. They upgraded our room because it was my husband's 50th. It includes birthday balloons and a cake.
Windows need attention and are badly fitting.

Afternoon tea in the Thames Foyer felt very nice. They don't let you top up your own tea. They brought a happy birthday cake as the pianist played the song. Breakfast arrived on its own table with its own oven.

The doorman greeted us instantly and took our cases at 11 am. The receptionist showed us up to our room to give us an orientation. Turn down service at night left water, slippers, and face balm.

Decorations for Christmas were amazing throughout the hotel. The location is perfect. It's very close to many attractions. The hotel provides an excellent history and traditional feel.

A few issues during stay
out of date toiletries
the room was clean , well appointed and comfortable.
i found that the bath plug did not fit and water was leaking through it. i had to use a piece of toilet roll to solve the problem , which was not ideal. the toiletries in the room were also out of date.
