The scarfes bar remains a highlight with its very nice vibe. i particularly adored the english bulldog statues. They added a whimsical touch. the staff impressed me as professional, yet they were never stiff.
i found the lack of natural light in the room a minor inconvenience.

I found the staff attentive. Leo at reception especially were really good too accommodate my early check-in. the room felt both luxurious and homely, with top-quality amenities throughout. the holborn diner offered very nice food at great value, and the bar boasts over 500 gins!
the only slight inconvenience i encountered was that the smart tv in my room did not support airplay or mirroring, which limited my entertainment options.

the family room included thoughtful extras like toiletries, a teddy, and an activity pack, also a bathrobe and slippers; it made my granddaughter feel very special. daily cleaning kept the room spotless, and fresh water bottles were provided each day.

the hotel is near covent garden and trafalgar square; holborn tube station is only a two-minute walk; this made travel to and from heathrow on the piccadilly line very convenient. its central position made accessing different parts of the city simple.

the hotel design seemed nice and most staff were generally warm. however, i felt disappointed with my stay. one major issue was the toilet, it didn't flush properly. i spoke to the reception three times but the issue continued. there was never an apology. the toilet issue, lack of apology.
