I felt like royalty in this hotel. From the luxurious evening turn-down service to the fabulous breakfast with unforgettable views of Vatican City and the Colosseum, my stay was a mix of highs and lows. The room, with stained carpet and aged furniture, lacked some charm, but the location was ideal, just a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps. The service, while having a rude encounter, offered excellent amenities like an exceptional terrace overlooking Villa Borghese. Dining was a bit underwhelming given the high price, but the hotel's facilities were top-notch.

Overall, a capital city consideration aside, this hotel is a gem in a prime location with exceptional service and stunning views.

Stunning views of Vatican City and the Colosseum from elegantly furnished rooms with spacious marble bathrooms made my stay unforgettable. The dining on the 5th floor with a view over the city was fantastic, albeit with limited options at times.
