adequately maintained facilities
clean room tasteful furnishing warm greeting small room bed edge toilet access
the room was super clean and tastefully furnished. derek greeted me warmly upon arrival. he gave me a map and suggested places i might visit. (it was very helpful)
the standard double rooms are quite small. they could almost pass as closets. i kept hurting my leg on the edge of the bed when i tried to walk around to get to the toilet.

absent wardrobe flimsy rail
i must confess, the absence of a proper wardrobe was a bit of a head-scratcher. i ended up living out of my suitcase. the bathroom situation seemed a tad cramped. maneuvering in there was like a game of adult twister and the towel rail was to be rather flimsy. i trust this is not a common occurence?

friendly owner delicious breakfast perfect location clean room
Derek was cute. He offered useful information about the area. the breakfasts were delicious, expertly cooked by suzanne. the hotel's location is excellent. It's right on the sea front. my room was well appointed and clean. i had a very relaxing experience.

small room short bed
the breakfast was lovely (especially the sausages).
the standard double room felt too small for me. i kept bumping my leg on the edge of the bed trying to get to the toilet. the double bed also wasn't a standard size and felt short.
