Welcome to Captain Morgan'S Retreat – San Pedro (Ambergris Caye)

The rooms were nice but had various issues affecting comfort, such as a lack of instructions, low shower pressure, noisy fridge, non-functional microwave, and rusty cutlery. Despite this, the bed was great. However, many guests seemed to have problems with their rooms. Overall, the stay was pleasant.

The hotel was nicely furnished with full amenities, including even a blender for making drinks. However, details like trim, sheets that fit the bed, a safe that was not duct-taped, mirrors that were the right height, and such were lacking. The rooms did not allow for the windows to be opened, but they were fine overall. The hotel had its own WiFi and was very large.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel! The rooms were clean and well-equipped, allowing us to save some money by having breakfast and lunch in the unit. The location right on the beach was perfect for my husband's milestone birthday celebration. The service was top-notch, with the pool bar and restaurant staff going above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time on the island.
