My stay was a mix of highs and lows at this hotel. The room was beautifully appointed with a view of the mountain and had some nice features like a gas fireplace and underfloor heating in the bathroom. However, there was no dressing table in the room, so my wife had to make do without one. The service was generally friendly but lacked a bit of polish, especially when it came to dining experiences. The location was stunning, nestled in the mountains and close to excellent wine estates. The dining was good overall, though there were some hiccups with the juice options. Despite some shortcomings, the hotel had its charm and amenities.
