double bed payment refusal

the location was acceptable, with a number of food places nearby..

i booked a room and requested a double bed as a mandatory requirement. the hotel was paid immediately via credit card. after that, they sent a message saying that there were no double bed rooms available. i contacted them, said that in that case i wouldn't appear, and asked them to return the payment, but they refused.

beautiful studio helpful staff

the building was recently renovated and it looks FANTASTIC from the inside. Our beautiful studio had plenty of space, this made it super comfortable, also quiet. The staff at reception was especially nice and helpful ALL the time.

the water pressure varies a little in the shower, that wasn't amazing.

great location friendly staff modern room fresh breakfast

the room was a good size i stayed in a beautiful studio it felt modern and new the hotel's location was central and convenient the staff was consistently friendly and helpful they gave great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. breakfast offered a nice variety with fresh options some items was homemade. the shared water bar and coffee machine were convenient i could use them anytime.

my room had a slight cooking smell at times possibly from a nearby restaurant it wasn't overwhelming but occasionally noticeable.

the studio had useful kitchen equipment and a nice size fridge. i found a towel heater in the bathroom. the staff were helpful and check in was easy. i got coffee for 2 euro in the morning.

the building echoed a bit, so i heard people coming in late at night.

The front desk staff were quite friendly, ready to help guests.

It started early and made it impossible to enjoy the room during the day. I couldn't even relax on the terrace. The hotel offered no solutions, dismissing my concerns. Such a letdown.
