a dreamy escape in the heart
helpful staff beautiful architecture accommodating staff
i felt enveloped in beauty upon arrival. the staff helped us get a room last minute. jose luis worked hard to please us. yael moved our things and stayed with us as we moved to a second room.
the room furnishings showed some age.

our beautiful king room featured a comfortable king bed. black out curtains kept the room very dark. the room proved very quiet, a peaceful retreat.

the rooftop bar provides the best view. i tried a margarita with tamarindo in the evening. the margarita was one of the best i had.

Excellent Location with Stellar Service
great bathtub attentive staff
The location is fantastic for exploring the historic area. My room offered a great bathtub. I also appreciated the very attentive bell staff. They were always ready to assist with luggage and directions. The hotel features a beautiful stained glass ceiling in the lobby ( magnificent!).
I experienced considerable noise . A street performer with a concert amplifier added to the noise levels.

The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options at a good price. The rooftop restaurant delivers amazing views. The dinner menu could use some revisions. It needs more options and more substantial dishes.

The staff is helpful and engaging (special mention to Cynthia and her team). The front desk staff accommodated my early arrival and late departure. Bellboys like Emmanuel and Isaias treated me with the utmost respect and hospitality.
