Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms offered stunning forest and hill views, and the service was exceptionally friendly. The authentic full-board meals were delicious, and the availability of private and public onsen facilities added to the experience. However, there was some noise from the onsen pump in the evening, but the hotel promptly resolved the issue by changing our room.
I had a relaxing stay at this hotel with its in-room hot spring tub for privacy and comfort, but the room felt a bit tired and in need of updating to match the rating and pricing. The service was efficient and welcoming, and the location offered a great view of the leafy mountains. The traditional Japanese dining was a delightful experience, but not suitable for all tastes. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms with in-room semi open-air onsen were well-equipped with towels and other amenities, including Shiseido skincare products, perfect for relaxing evenings with a spa bath. The location, although a bit tricky to navigate, was very convenient as it's super close to the H line bus stop connecting Hakone Yumoto and Motohakone-ko, ideal for visiting the open-air museum near Gora. The dining experience, booked and confirmed prior to our check-in, exceeded our expectations with some of the best Japanese food we had during our trip.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were very spacious for the Japanese standard and came with a private onsen bath. They were well-equipped with towels and other amenities, including Shiseido skincare products. The service was exceptional, with attentive housekeeping and a lovely welcome drink upon arrival. The location was hassle-free to reach, offering a small private bath with a view and a serene atmosphere, although not as convenient as Gora, it was delightfully quiet. The dining experience, while featuring great traditional Japanese dishes in private booths, might not cater to non-Japanese tastes. The facilities were top-notch, providing a relaxing and enjoyable escape.
I found my stay at Manatei Hakone delightful with its beautifully appointed rooms in traditional Japanese style, perfect for couples. The service was impeccable, and the location was ideal for exploring Hakone's attractions. While the dining experience was a mix, the home-made jams were a lovely touch. The facilities ensured a relaxing and zen ambiance during my stay.
I had a delightful stay at the hotel, enjoying the stunning mountain views from my suite room with a private onsen. The convenience of the location near the H line bus stop made exploring Hakone easy, but the outdated railway line was a minor inconvenience. The traditional kaiseki meals were packed with delicious flavors, although not suitable for all palates.
