fantastic stay in ideal location

the staff was wonderful and helpful throughout my stay. i stayed for four nights in a room overlooking the pool (i liked that a lot). the room had comfy seating on the balcony and a large fridge with a freezer. free water was available in the lobby.
i occasionally smelled sewage from the bathroom when using the bidet water. i understand some parts of the bathroom may need refurbishment.

the hotel is on a main street with bars and restaurants. it is a short walk to the monkey forest and markets. there is also a shuttle to local attractions if you prefer not to walk.

the hotel offers a beautiful secret garden with villas in the back. the main hotel pool is lovely and very deep (something i enjoyed). the gardens are immaculate and peaceful, perfect for relaxation.

the breakfast buffet has a large variety of options for everyone. afternoon tea is also available, a nice touch. i also enjoyed lunch at the restaurant and found the cocktails quite good.

i did think the location was acceptable. it was close enough to everything i needed.
i'm a little upset about the room cleaning. the slippers they gave me seemed old, and i don't know how many people used them before me. the hotel said it was because of their "eco" policy, but the slippers was like they were meant for only one use. breakfast was not much and the tea wasn't good either.

The breakfast had a great range of choices. I especially enjoyed the freshly made scrambled eggs. All of the staff members were good and helpful. My room featured a beautiful balcony where I ate my dinner one night.
The bathroom sometimes had a sewage smell when I used the bidet water. They mentioned they fixed the problem, but it persisted slightly

A Bali Dream Realized

The grounds were immaculate. Staff were very friendly and were very good too make sure my needs were met. The resort is very centrally located. Many attractions are very close. The street has restaurants, shops, money exchange and convenience stores.
Using a stroller was inconvenient because there are many stairs and steps. Getting to the breakfast area from the ground floor was challenging. The hotel could improve accessibility for families with young children.
