Reviews and Ratings
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile from Kristen at the Front Desk. The majestic halls and the grand-sized room wowed me. However, the initial room I received was not representative of the room I was moved to on the 4th floor the next day.
I had a great time staying at this hotel! The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to many museums and galleries. The rooms were spacious, with a corner view of the strip along the Capital One Arena. The service was friendly and efficient, and the dining experience was of excellent quality. However, the only downside was that dining options were limited at specific hours.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were small with few seating options other than the bed, but we were welcomed with ice-cold fruit water and homemade cookies in the cozy lobby as our room wasn't ready. The location was great and ventilation in the room was good.
Staying at this hotel was a mix of uniqueness and coziness. The rooms, though small, were incredibly charming and full of character, making the stay quite memorable. However, the size might not suit everyone. The service at this Kimpton property was top-notch, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience. The location was unbeatable, surrounded by iconic landmarks and a plethora of dining options. While the dining experience left something to be desired in terms of quality, the overall value for the price paid was reasonable.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location was perfect for exploring DC's attractions, and I loved being within walking distance of the National Gallery of Art and the National Archives. However, the service was lacking, with rude staff and a feeling of being overwhelmed. The dining options were just average, and the rooms, especially on the 4th Floor of their Mediterranean Suites, had a musty smell that detracted from the otherwise comfortable stay.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff. However, the room felt a bit stuffy and partially below ground. The location was fantastic for exploring Washington, but there were some issues with ventilation and privacy.
