expensive parking worn carpets
I thought the hotel was alright at first. I found the parking quite expensive. Paying that much just to park felt excessive. I also noticed some areas could use a bit of freshening up, especially the carpets which seemed a little worn. The overall impression I got was of a place starting to show its age.

Acceptable stay, issues noticed.
squeaking air conditioning dated furnishings
The air conditioning made consistent squeaking noises. Staff turned it off. This made the room hot and stuffy and hard to sleep in. Dated furnishings existed in the room. The tram nearby made noise late into the night and early in the morning. This interrupted my sleep.

stuffy room limited selection
the air conditioning did not cool properly. i also noticed some stains on the carpet. the breakfast selection seemed limited, and the quality of the pastries was not what i expect. these problems impacted my overall experience.

I found the location quite central, within walking distance of several attractions. The room featured ample space and included a functional espresso machine (which I used daily). The restaurant provided a good selection of local wines.
The street noise was slightly noticeable during peak traffic hours.
