fair stay experience
cute staff goat's cheese rare photos central courtyard thin walls early morning
I found the staff really cute. breakfast was good. I especially loved the goat's cheese. the hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. This is rare.
My room was on the ground floor, it opened directly onto the central courtyard.

a decent place to stay.
ideal location clean room helpful staff poor soundproofing missing fridge cold breakfast area
the location was ideal. it was close to many attractions, and i could easily walk to various places. the room was clean, i liked that. the staff at the front desk was helpful.
The room lacked soundproofing. Noise from other guests was noticeable. there was no fridge in my room, i missed that. the breakfast area was a bit cold in the mornings.

poor air frequent connection
Staff were pleasant enough. Breakfast offered a good choice of food and was hot.
Air con was quite poor, so my room got warm at night. I found the wifi to be weak with frequent dropped connections, an issue when I needed to work. The room ended up feeling very basic.

the staff offered complimentary tea and coffee. the building had a beautiful traditional style. i also appreciated the large bed with two big windows, including light blinds.
the room temperature was controlled by the front desk, so i had to ask for adjustments. only one key card was given. this meant no electricity in the room if one person left.

Acceptable location, noticeable noise issues
The hotel had a very convenient location for getting around.
I was very annoyed. My room was on the bottom floor near the front desk, and it was just too loud (I would have preferred a quieter room). The air conditioning barely worked and did not cool the room down at all.
