The Victorian estate built in 1874 features 15 guest rooms across the Victorian Manor, Carriage Barn, and English Cottages, with gardens that earned the prestigious 'Santa Barbara Beautiful' Award.

Rooms at Simpson House Inn range from charming Victorian quarters to private cottages with whirlpool tubs. The Greenwich cottage showcases luxurious elegance with a private fountain courtyard, antique queen bed, and river rock faced wood burning fireplace. The carriage house rooms and English-style cottages tucked into the back corners of the property are particularly private and romantic.

Complimentary Gourmet Dining

Each stay includes a gourmet served breakfast that can be enjoyed in the main house or in-room. Guests receive afternoon refreshments, an evening wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres reception, and dessert bites daily. The next day huevos rancheros is served with fresh juice and coffee or tea, fresh pastry's and choice of fruit or oatmeal.

Gardens and Spa

An acre of lush English gardens hidden by tall hedges is studded with trickling fountains and quiet places. The Simpson House Inn Signature Massage offers a gentle exfoliating brushing for the back, legs, and arms prior to the massage, which invigorates circulation and the lymphatic system. For ultimate luxury, the Warm Herbal Oil massage uses specially blended Arurvedic oils to restore balance of mind and body.

Downtown Santa Barbara Location

Located in Santa Barbara Downtown, Simpson House Inn offers access to Paseo Nuevo, a shopping center with tiled courtyards, fountains, and chain retailers. Guests can take a stroll to Stearns Wharf for beachfront walks or rent bicycles.
