Welcome to Thai Akara - Lanna Boutique Hotel – Chiang Mai

Our stay at this hotel was delightful! The rooms had a lovely Chiang Mai style, felt very private despite sharing the pool with neighboring guests, and were clean with fresh fruit awaiting us. The bathroom was spacious with both a tub and shower, but the design could be improved. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who helped organize activities and offered a special welcome drink. The location was perfect for exploring the old city of Chiang Mai, being central yet quiet. The dining experience, while fresh and good quality, lacked variety. Overall, a great value for money.

I couldn't have asked for a better location, as the hotel was within walking distance to the major Wats in Chiang Mai Old City and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. The rooms, decorated with charming hearts, were comfortable and enjoyable, although being right on the street meant occasional street noise. The friendly service staff made my stay exceptional, though there was a slight discrepancy in the quoted price for the airport transfer service.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The spacious rooms with high ceilings exceeded my expectations. However, the numerous barking dogs in the residential area could be bothersome at night. The large bed, sitting area, nice balcony, and romantic bathroom made the stay very enjoyable.
