convenient location blackout curtains strong shower
the location near the metro was convenient. my room, a medium room, included blackout curtains and usb ports near the bed. the shower pressure was STRONG and refreshing.
The reception area seemed understaffed. There were often delays during check-in.

funky retro retreat
shopping variety easy access gift selection
my second visit confirmed its charm. the fully opened westfield next door offers a good variety of shops and dining. the u4 überseequartier station is nearby, providing easy access to the city center. the hotel features a gift shop that has a good selection of gifts.
during my stay, the room temperature was difficult to adjust. the heating system seemed limited, so achieving a comfortable warmth in the room proved challenging. this minor inconvenience detracted slightly from the overall experience.

the hotel provides unique retro touches with vhs players and record players in the rooms. a library allows guests to borrow additional vhs tapes and records. the mini bar features soft drinks and snacks for a comfortable stay.

located in the hafencity area, this place has quick access to transport. the central station is only about twenty-five minutes away if you are walking. communal areas create a very relaxed atmosphere, with a sauna available where one can admire city views.

I found the staff here very helpful. the receptionists were very kind. the waiters and waitresses in the breakfast area made the mornings more pleasant. Staff aided me in finding interesting places nearby.

sticky light switches cleanliness issue
The room had a good shower and toiletries were provided.
The room was not clean enough. I noticed sticky light switches and it seemed they hadn't been cleaned in a while. This lack of cleanliness detracted from my overall experience.
