some issues
early noiseno air conditioning
i stayed at this hotel for a few nights. the noise level early in the morning was a major issue. garbage trucks emptied dumpsters at 5:25 am. church bells rang every 15 minutes starting at 5:30 am. street cleaning trucks passed by at 5:35 am. also, the lack of air conditioning was not ideal. i had to keep the windows closed due to the noise, but it made the room stuffy.

i found the hotel quite lovely. the rooms were very clean and also spacious. it is central to many things and there are places to eat within a short walk. the staff was very helpful . i appreciated the small discount offered if i chose not to have my room serviced.
one minor inconvenience was the noise early in the morning due to nearby businesses and church bells, which started around 5:30 am. this made it a little difficult to sleep with the windows open, and there was no air conditioning in the room.

the location was acceptable with an easy walk to most sights.
the staff seemed less than helpful. i asked for a nearby cafe, and the only response was a vague pointing gesture (seriously, that was it). also, the lack of a kettle in the room meant trekking downstairs in my pajamas for coffee. what a joy.

The location provides easy access to the main square. The breakfast happened at the owner's father's cafe. It was only 20 meters away and felt very hospitable. The shower was great. The room had good soundproofing. I appreciated this feature.
The staff was not friendly. They were not very helpful when I asked for a cafe. I received a pointing gesture. It did not lead me to a cafe. There was no kettle in the room. I had to go downstairs for coffee in my pajamas.
