Welcome to Carlton Lausanne Boutique Hotel – Lausanne

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The lakeside rooms were clean and well-appointed, but they had an unpleasant smell. While the walls were thin, making it easy to hear conversations from the next room, the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The location is brilliant, close to the metro and IMD, walking distance to Ouchy, making it super convenient. The rooms were nice, especially the junior suite with a mini-bar and a balcony, offering a lovely stay. The service was extremely nice and helpful, getting us acclimated to Switzerland seamlessly. The dining experience on the terrace near the metro station was just an icing on the cake. While the hotel's facilities were top-notch, the fact that I was asked to move out from the hotel's restaurant garden to the outside hotel restaurant, just next to the hotel but not owned by them, was a slight inconvenience.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were great, beautifully decorated, and surprisingly quiet despite being in the city center. I especially loved the balcony with a table and chairs. The service was a bit mixed, with some instances of strict time limits but overall friendly and helpful staff. The location was excellent, near good restaurants and public transport. The dining options were decent, but the price for some items seemed a bit high. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience with a few minor drawbacks.
