Welcome to Casa Aliso Hotel Boutique – Quito

The hotel had a real colonial feel with spacious and beautiful rooms, a small porch, and adequate heating. However, the carpeting was a bit old and ragged, which may be a concern in damp weather. The location was great in an up-and-coming neighborhood with cute restaurants and cafes, though a bit far from the old historical center of Quito.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms, some of which overlooked the garden at the back, were more than adequate for heating the room, which I really appreciated. While there was no view, the spaciousness made up for it. The service was good with room service available, but there were no special touches like welcome drinks. The location was great, right in the middle of an up-and-coming neighborhood with plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The dining was delicious, although the timing was a bit off. The facilities were basic but met my needs.

The hotel gives me the feeling of being at home with its cozy atmosphere, though the slightly worn carpeting could use some refreshing. The absence of a hairdryer was a downside, but the heating in the room was much appreciated. It's not the best choice on damp days, but overall, it's a comfortable stay.
