park noise sound insulation
the park in front of the hotel generated quite some noise . this was noticeable from my room at various times. a solution to mitigate this disturbance could greatly enhance the guest experience. the absence of sufficient soundproofing became an area needing attention.

the building is beautiful. staff were helpful. the breakfast included varied options.
the hotel charged me twice. i did not receive my refund fully. receptionists were rude and unprofessional. there were homeless people sleeping on the square just in front of the hotel.

lovely getaway!
historic building rooftop restaurant reliable drivers breakfast menu
this hotels location rules, everything is close. breakfast rocked. the rooftop restaurant got really good food and friendly service. i enjoyed the welcome drink. the staff set up super reliable and honest drivers. they knew me when i came back for my keys and it made me felt special. my room had slippers and a robe. the building seemed like something out of history, it was fantastic.
the water bottles cost too much! a filter would be better instead of charging a lot.

the restaurant features delicious dishes with beautiful presentation. the breakfast menu includes lattes and cappuccinos. fruit plates and egg plates were really great. it includes coffee, juice, bread, and pastries.

rooms have high ceilings and airy spaces, and also big bathrooms. the building provide an elevator. rooms are spotlessly clean and i got a comfortable bed. the hotel also has a robe for you to use which makes me feel happy.

Excellent Stay in Historic District
historic district rooftop restaurant friendly service welcome drink
The hotel locate is in the historic district. It made it easy to see many sites. The rooftop restaurant seemed open when I need it. The food is really good and service is friendly. The hotel welcome drink on the roof.
The front desk director was a little unempathetic. It was frankly disappointing to see this. The place is central, but the square had people using drugs.

The hotel staff were excellent and responsive. Staff provided me with wonderful suggestions where to eat. The staff arranged drivers for us. They are more reliable than taxis. Desk staff makes sure they know you.

The hotel is a converted Spanish Colonial castle. It is beautifully restored with modern amenities in the rooms. The building itself is beautiful. The hotel gives you a welcome drink in the restaurant.

the architecture was unique and interesting.
the hotel overcharged for water. they want you to pay extra for everything. this feels like a budget airline approach at a premium price.

high-class restaurant excellent service helpful staff fresh fruit
the hotel restaurant featured a high-class atmosphere. i found the service consistently excellent throughout my stay. the staff was very helpful and always available. breakfast included fresh fruit and 'pan dulces', a good start to each day.
sound proofing was not ideal, i could hear noise from the front desk. this impacted the overall tranquility.

the hotel sits a few blocks from the zocalo. it is positioned near templo mayor and the main square. the area provides walkable access to historic sites and cultural landmarks, a great advantage for exploration.
