Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Casa De La Luz Hotel Boutique impresses with its unique architecture and beautifully restored design, offering large rooms, especially in the master category, though some standard rooms may have less natural light. Its prime location places guests within a short walk, around 100 meters, from the Zocalo, making it easy to explore the historic center. Guests often enjoy the convenience of having Tezontle restaurant on the rooftop, and some appreciate the L'Occitane toiletries provided; however, a few guests have noted noise issues due to events held at the hotel.

the water bottles cost too much! a filter would be better instead of charging a lot.

Excellent Stay in Historic District

historic districtrooftop restaurantfriendly servicewelcome drink
The hotel locate is in the historic district. It made it easy to see many sites. The rooftop restaurant seemed open when I need it. The food is really good and service is friendly. The hotel welcome drink on the roof.
The front desk director looked a little unempathetic. It was frankly disappointing to see this. The place is central, but the square had people using drugs.
Dining

The rooftop restaurant provides fine food. I found its service to be friendly and professional. Dishes were both delicious and very nicely presented. Breakfast had a great menu. Many coffee choices exist.

the hotel overcharged for water. they want you to pay extra for everything. this feels like a budget airline approach at a premium price.
