peaceful courtyardsuper clean roomcomfortable bed
i found the hotel so peaceful, a true escape from the city bustle. the courtyard was a good place, and i spent time there every day enjoying its calm. the rooms were super clean, and the bed was comfortable.
I did find the coffee machine at breakfast difficult to use. It seemed many guests had similar issues.
Facilities
9/10
the hallways feature lovely floral arrangements with fresh flowers, adding a touch of nature indoors. the hotel provides airport transfer services for a set fee, simplifying arrival and departure logistics. there is no elevator available for upper floors; this might require some planning for guests with heavy luggage.
Location
10/10
the hotel's location allowed easy access to many places of interest; i loved exploring the nearby st agnes convent. the property is in a quiet area; the old town square and its clock are only a short walk away. the hotel also provides a peaceful retreat from the city's livelier streets.
Rooms
8/10
my room included a bedroom, a dressing room, and a bathroom; the space was ample and well-organized. air conditioning kept the bedroom cool at night; that was very beneficial during warmer days. i noticed that some rooms might be smaller than indicated; that should be clarified upon booking.
Dining
9/10
breakfast included many options, from breads and salads to desserts, cheeses, and eggs, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. the bistro offers tasty food at reasonable prices, especially compared to city pubs; beer was half the cost of what i found elsewhere. i really enjoyed the cake at breakfast!

Ben, the front desk clerk, assisted me with directions after a wrong turn. The kitchen provided pumpkin soup and bread even at a late hour. The room was both large and quiet. Breakfast had an excellent layout.
The beds felt hard, and the sheets seemed worn. The coffee machine in the breakfast area looked antiquated and hard to operate. There was no minibar in the room.

The bed was quite firm, which affected my sleep quality. additionally, the coffee machine at breakfast was difficult to use. staff also struggled with it, so i ended up just having tea. the dinner in the courtyard was nice but lacked lighting. I could not properly see the food i was eating. it got so dark we used our phone lights during the meal, such a bummer.
