Staying at Casa Monica was a delightful experience overall. The rooms were very comfortable with a charming period look, but a standard mid-level hotel room in terms of size and amenities. The location in Old Town St Augustine was simply the best, being within walking distance to everything and across from the unique Lightner Museum. The service was top-notch, with friendly, professional staff always ready to assist. However, the dining experience was average, and the price was a bit steep compared to similar options.

My stay at the hotel was just what I needed - a relaxing and comfortable experience. The room, while small, was clean and cozy, making it perfect for lounging about during the afternoon. I wished there was a refrigerator in the room, but it had all the essential amenities like a mini fridge, coffee maker, and even a Bose stereo/CD player. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special by surprising me with a bottle of wine and chocolate covered strawberries in my room.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The location is outstanding, close to beautiful boutique shoppes and unique dining experiences, making it a perfect spot for exploring the St Augustine area. The service from the staff was exceptional, very kind, and knowledgeable, going out of their way to ensure a memorable visit. On the downside, while the rooms were comfortable, there was no small refrigerator in the St Francis Suite as requested, and the hotel could benefit from being more environmentally friendly.
