Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was really nice, being close to the railway station and the center. However, the room faced other buildings, which compromised my privacy, and there was a persistent smoke odor in the halls. The service was fantastic, with the staff being very polite and helpful. The dining experience was above average, offering a good selection of dishes, but some prices seemed a bit high. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean, modern, and had very comfortable beds. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was superb, just a short walk from the railway station and the city center. The dining experience was exceptional with a wide selection of delicious dishes. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a great stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were modern and clean, offering good insulation from outside noises but not so much from neighbors. The location was superb, being just a short walk from the central railway station and the city center. The dining options were decent, although at an additional cost.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, but the noise from passing trains and trams, as well as sirens from emergency vehicles, disturbed my sleep. The hotel is situated in an old converted housing building next to the reception, offering an upgrade and complimentary breakfast. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-insulated from external noises but lacked soundproofing from neighbors. The pillows were comfortable, and the big TV screen was a nice addition.
The hotel provides a unique room setup with a bathtub at the end of the bed and a nice sitting area for relaxation. The room had ample towels and pillows, creating a comfortable and quiet ambiance.
When it comes to the hotel, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had great insulation from outside noises, but unfortunately not so much from neighbors, with nice pillows and a big TV screen. However, the lack of a closet and the quality of the pillows were real downsides. The location can't be beaten for train travelers, being just a short walk from the station, but remember, it's in an old converted housing building. Service-wise, the staff was pleasant, efficient, and always ready to help, providing a great experience. The dining options were varied and satisfying, but nothing over the top. The facilities offered were complete and above average, making the stay quite comfortable.
I stayed at the Cityhotel am Thielenplatz for 3 nights in June 2013. The hotel offered very good insulation from outside noises, but unfortunately, noise from neighboring rooms was quite bothersome. The rooms were spacious and clean, with nice pillows and a big TV screen. The free breakfast was a nice touch, and the brand-new look of the room was impressive. However, the noise from trains, trams, and emergency vehicles throughout the night was a downside.
I was delighted with the location of the hotel, just a stone's throw from the main train station making it super convenient. The service was top-notch with friendly and accommodating staff. The dining options were above average with a great selection available. However, the room layout, though cozy, was a bit unconventional with a bathtub at the end of the bed, and the prices were on the higher side.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms still had some dust and minor debris from the building work, although they did offer a nice view. The upgrade and free breakfast were a nice touch, but being on the backside of the hotel meant that apartments and offices overlooked my room.
My stay at the hotel was great overall. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering a good level of comfort with nice pillows and a big TV screen. However, there were still some dust and debris from ongoing building work. The service was top-notch, with staff being very pleasant, friendly, and professional. The location was superb, just a short walk from the Central railway station and the shopping street. The dining experience was decent, with a good selection of food at a reasonable cost. The facilities were well above average, providing a pleasant stay.
