The hotel was badly in need of an update, with a loud aircon that made it impossible to sleep, non-functional TV remote control, poor water pressure, locked mini-bar, and lack of soap in the bathroom. However, the location was fabulous, right across the street from SMU, and the service was extremely helpful and friendly. The dining options remained an afterthought, but the facilities like room service, bicycle hire, wedding services, and valet parking were available.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and quiet but lacked windows, and the sectional sofa sleeper was a bit uncomfortable for my son. The decor could use some updating, though.
I found the hotel to have clean and well-maintained rooms, but lacking some amenities like a refrigerator and microwave. The service was a mixed bag, ranging from very helpful to indifferent at times. The location was convenient for me, being right across the street from SMU. The dining experience was underwhelming with limited options. The hotel's facilities were adequate, but nothing exceptional.
