Review summary

The Hilton Sydney's location is a definite highlight for many, with the George Street tram stopping right outside and offering quick access to Circular Quay, the Opera House, and Chinatown. Its proximity to the QVB shopping mall and Pitt Street Mall is also appreciated, making it easy to explore the city; walking to Darling Harbour or the Art Gallery is a breeze. Many find the rooms comfortable and reasonably spacious, with some corner rooms offering wonderful city views, although some guests have noted that certain aspects of the rooms and executive lounge are quite basic. Booking early may help secure a very reasonable rate.

constant dinging small sink
The valet team was pretty efficient. They had my car parked quickly when i arrived.
My room was located near the lifts, and i could constantly hear them dinging and whooshing. it made it difficult to sleep the first night. I eventually got used to it. the television was also a disaster. The image kept pixelating and dropping out. a small sink in the bathroom was below standard too. i mean, come on.

Acceptable Location, Disappointing Room Issues

poor reception jammed door
The location was very convenient. It was easy to get around.
The television reception in my room was poor. The picture and sound kept cutting out. The bathroom door was jammed and I could not slide it shut, and this remained unfixed despite my reporting it.
