easy exploringunusable wi-fistained carpet
The location was acceptable. It made exploring the surroundings relatively easy (at least, when i bothered to leave the hotel).
The 'free' wi-fi was practically unusable. i tried to upgrade to the paid version, but the staff couldn't assist. the carpet was stained. It really needs a good cleaning or replacement. (i mean, come on!).

The location was acceptable for seeing attractions. (It was central, I guess.)
The thermostat was locked. I could not adjust it. I found this very annoying. The restaurant also does not offer takeout. I wanted to eat in my room, but I could not get food from the restaurant.

I stayed in the renovated Iberville Tower (a PREFERRED king room) and it was comfortable. The color scheme was BEAUTIFUL, all grey and white (it was relaxing). The staff was GREAT, especially at the front desk.

Charming stay in a prime location

I found the staff helpful (they really were really nice) and the location was superb. The rooftop pool provided a lovely escape, and the bar service there was prompt. I liked the maid service. The chocolates left on the bed each evening were a sweet touch. The building's history added to the experience.
The noise insulation from the street proved insufficient. I could clearly hear traffic noise, which slightly impacted my sleep.

The room offered ample space and included comfortable furniture. The king-sized bed provided restful sleep. The bathroom featured quality toiletries and a clean, well kept space.

The location proved advantageous with ease of access to nearby attractions. I loved the convenience. The rooftop pool had amazing city views! comfortable loungers offered relaxation and enjoyment. The hotel restaurant, Criollo, provided really good service. I must commend Merry and Johnston.
I needed to check out one day early due to an urgent matter. The hotel insisted on charging me for the remaining night, which felt quite inflexible
