clean fitness center walking distance comfortable bed small pool unjustified resort fees slow valet
i found the fitness center clean and well equipped. i appreciated that the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions. the bed was comfortable.
the pool images online were deceiving , as it was very small. i was charged resort fees , but i did not feel like i experienced any resort amenities. also , the valet service made me wait over 30 minutes even though i was the only one waiting for a car.

a solid stay downtown
convenient location smooth arrival safe car
the location proved convenient. it was easy to walk to many attractions , especially with the hotel being so close to canal street and various restaurants. the helpful bellhop , albert , assisted with our bags and made the arrival process very smooth. i felt my car was safe with them , even though my roof top carrier made it too tall for covered parking.
i did have some issues with the billing process. there was a mandatory destination fee which was meant to be a daily credit. i was charged holding fees on my credit card exceeding the amount i spent each day at the bar , and i found this confusing.

my king room had a city view and proved quite comfortable. it included comfortable beds and pleasant , spacious accommodations , perfect after a day of exploring.

the hotel sits close to many walkable restaurants. canal street is nearby , as are several popular spots. i appreciated the ease of access to the city center for sightseeing.
