i found the fitness center clean and well equipped. i appreciated that the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions. the bed was comfortable.
the pool images online were deceiving , as it was very small. i was charged resort fees , but i did not feel like i experienced any resort amenities. also , the valet service made me wait over 30 minutes even though i was the only one waiting for a car.

The location was convenient. i could easily reach different parts of the city. the staff were friendly and helpful. they quickly addressed my questions and requests. i also liked the fitness center. It had modern equipment.
i was disappointed with some unexpected fees. i found a daily 'e-channel fee' on my bill. the minibar fee was also incorrect. i did not use the minibar at all. the manager promised to remove the fees, but i am still waiting for the updated invoice.

a solid stay downtown
convenient locationsmooth arrivalsafe carconfusing billing
the location proved convenient. it was easy to walk to many attractions , especially with the hotel being so close to canal street and various restaurants. the helpful bellhop , albert , assisted with our bags and made the arrival process very smooth. i felt my car was safe with them , even though my roof top carrier made it too tall for covered parking.
i did have some issues with the billing process. there was a mandatory destination fee which was meant to be a daily credit. i was charged holding fees on my credit card exceeding the amount i spent each day at the bar , and i found this confusing.

my king room had a city view and proved quite comfortable. it included comfortable beds and pleasant , spacious accommodations , perfect after a day of exploring.
