helen, the host, provided a warm welcome upon arrival. she baked fresh muffins each morning, even packing some for us to take away. the bar had reasonable prices and comfortable seating (chesterfield sofas!). the breakfast included homemade muffins and a bag to carry them.
i found some dust on the sockets.

a nice stay
unique placebeautiful decorcomfortable bed
our group of eight stayed for two nights. we attended a wedding at the nearby danby castle barn. helen, the owner, has created a very unique place. each room features beautiful décor and felt really comfy. i found herbal teas, fresh milk, biscuits, and even a chocolate treat. i also used a quality shampoo and conditioner. bubble baths for the double ended tub. the bed was comfortable with a huge duvet and encouraging pillows.
i could hear some noise coming from the street outside.
