wonderful stay
friendly staff great facilities
staff were very friendly. facilities were great. everything was within walking distance. breakfast was lovely. i found the staff very attentive and helpful when i asked for directions to local attractions. the breakfast included a wide selection of fresh pastries and local cheeses.
i did notice that pool towels incurred an extra charge, even if unused.

the staff offered attentive service. they were always available at reception to answer questions. staff also provided maps and recommended local restaurants and attractions, it was helpful.

the hotel included a tranquil courtyard with seating areas. i noticed that the pool area had lounge chairs and umbrellas. the breakfast area was well kept and clean. the hotel offered complimentary wifi in all areas.

the hotel was close to the city center. i could easily walk to main attractions and restaurants. public transport was accessible nearby, this makes exploring the area convenient, without the need of a car.

Some Minor Issues
extra charge wasted food
The 'romantic room deal' was a surprise (not the good kind) since I never requested it. They offered chocolates, cava, and flowers for an extra charge. They did reduce the price, but it was still unexpected. the breakfast was a bit too much. Each course came out whether I wanted it or not. It felt wasteful since I just wanted coffee and toast. (Maybe I'm too simple.)

Balanced stay
homemade breakfast attentive host difficult access missing chair
The breakfast was homemade and tasted heavenly. The host José was very kind and accommodating. This made my mornings very ENJOYABLE. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was also excellent.
The place was difficult to reach by taxi. I was dropped some distance away with luggage. A chair was MISSING in the room. I would have liked that.
