Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered beautifully decorated and spacious rooms with a lovely balcony overlooking the rooftops of Chelsea, although the dining experience fell short with overpriced items and an underwhelming atmosphere. The service was very attentive, and the location in a quiet, residential area of Chelsea was wonderful.
The hotel offers a mix of grandeur and coziness, featuring unique and tasteful antiques in the room, making it a spectacular stay. While the room was dominated by a large four-poster bed, there was still not much space around the edges. The 2nd-floor location facing the main street was surprisingly quiet, ideal for a luxurious retreat on special occasions.
Heading up the slightly narrow staircase to my first-floor room, I found the hotel to be fabulously individual with spacious rooms. However, I encountered some issues like a broken towel heater rail, frayed curtains, poor TV channels, and a tricky shower tap configuration. The location was great for exploring London, being close to the tube yet nestled in a quiet side street.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms had a tired and stale feeling with some maintenance issues, but I was pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a gallery suite at check-in. The service was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for exploring Kings Road and the nearby attractions. However, the dining experience fell short with limited breakfast options and additional costs for basic items.
The hotel offers everything you need in a Junior Suite but has some room issues like a broken towel heater rail, fraid curtains, poor TV channels, and hard-to-use shower tap configuration. Despite these, it has a cozy atmosphere and efficient service from every staff member.
My stay at the hotel was overall delightful. The rooms were amazing although there was a mix-up with our bed preference, the service was top-notch with a warm reception from the staff, and the location was perfect for exploring the vibrant neighborhood. The dining experience was decent, but some additions to breakfast would have been appreciated.
