Welcome to The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace – Udaipur

My stay at the hotel was fantastic, with amazing services and a stunning view. The rooms had everything we needed, though they were not soundproof. The service was top-notch, especially the traditional evening show, but can be pricey for those on a budget. The location was ideal, offering the best views in the city and being very close to the lake. Dining was excellent, especially at the Padmini Restaurant. The facilities were great, providing everything we required during our stay.

The hotel was a delightful resting place during our tour of Rajasthan, perched on a hill overlooking Fateh Sagar Lake. The rooms were very spacious and nicely done, exceeding our expectations with a huge lounge area, double bed, walk-in closet, and a big bathroom; the direct lake view was a definite highlight. The service was exceptional, with the helpful and understanding staff, especially the lovely Manisha, making our stay memorable. The dining experience, while limited in choice and seating options, offered delicious Indian food. The location, sloping all the way to the lake, was truly marvellous. However, the tight indoor seating and limited outdoor seating were minor drawbacks in an otherwise top-notch stay.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of fantastic views and some noise disturbances. The room was much larger than expected, featuring a huge lounge area, comfortable double bed, walk-in closet, and spacious bathroom with an amazing view of Fateh Sagar Lake - truly one of the best views in Udaipur. However, the noise levels at times were unbearable, requiring me to change my room.
