Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location, especially its proximity to Circular Quay and the Opera House, along with easy access to various transportation options like trains, ferries, and trams. The breakfast, ordered off the menu in the hotel restaurant and available from 7 AM, stands out as a highlight. While the hotel is an older building with modern interiors, some guests have noted that certain rooms can be compact, lacking space for luggage or wardrobes, and potentially featuring shared bathrooms accessible only via stairs.

fantastic accommodation

perfect location friendly staff
The location was perfect near the train station and the harbour. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Sinead was especially great! breakfast was excellent, and i appreciated the chocolate fairy. the hotel is beautifully restored, i was grateful.
the hotel has many steps inside. i found it unsuitable for anyone not completely mobile and able to carry luggage up and down steps. it's something to consider if you have mobility issues.

street noise tiny bathroom
The room faced the street and the noise persisted throughout the night. deliveries and street cleaners were quite active. i found earplugs in the drawer, but they didn't block out all the noise. The windows are not double glazed. the bathroom had minimal space. there was a tiny shelf for toiletries, and no bin. the only bin was in the bedroom.
