fantastic accommodation
perfect location friendly staff
The location was perfect near the train station and the harbour. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Sinead was especially great! breakfast was excellent, and i appreciated the chocolate fairy. the hotel is beautifully restored, i was grateful.
the hotel has many steps inside. i found it unsuitable for anyone not completely mobile and able to carry luggage up and down steps. it's something to consider if you have mobility issues.

the staff were great and readily available to assist with any questions or requests i had! the check-in process was easy, and the team offered recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. the service was attentive!

the standard double room included comfortable beds with soft linens and pillows. the room had convenient air conditioning, and i found that it maintained a cool, stable temperature! the room was clean.

my room was quite clean. the bed in the double room garden view was comfortable. fresh flowers were in the room upon arrival.
The street noise was noticeable during the night. I found earplugs in the drawer.

street noise tiny bathroom
The room faced the street and the noise persisted throughout the night. deliveries and street cleaners were quite active. i found earplugs in the drawer, but they didn't block out all the noise. The windows are not double glazed. the bathroom had minimal space. there was a tiny shelf for toiletries, and no bin. the only bin was in the bedroom.
