Dual Dining Options

Hotel Triton is home to two of the city's most appealing eateries. Café de la Presse, a wonderfully authentic French bistro, is the go-to for the local in-crowd, while Scott's Chowder House offers delicious seafood chowder and lobster rolls.

Central Arts Location

This San Francisco hotel is ideally positioned in the Gallery District, with easy access to world-class shopping, art exhibitions, restaurants, and entertainment. The Bay Area Rapid Transit is a convenient option by train from both airports, and Hotel Triton is a 20-minute walk from F Market Street Car.

Artistic Cultural Experience

Mezzanine Gallery and Living Room feature a highly curated art collection of local and global artists. Guests can admire a display case filled with minerals from around the world, including sulfur and pink opal, while an almost 100-year-old artwork by Persian artist John Oshanna beautifully depicts Mission Dolores.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, offering a nice view of Chinatown and Jack Kerouac's 'The Road' script as wallpaper. However, the room had just a tiny window, limiting the view, and there wasn't enough space for my suitcase to open freely.

Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while extremely comfortable, had a dampish feel, and the high price tag didn't seem justified as the value for money was lacking. On the bright side, the friendly staff provided helpful tips. The location was a definite plus for exploring San Francisco, but the extra 'urban amenity' fee raised some eyebrows. Dining options were somewhat limited despite the convenient location near Chinatown.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was excellent, with easy access to Union Square and China Town, but the noise from construction was quite bothersome. The premier King bedroom, although a bit small, was clean. The staff at the front desk assured me there were no charges, but I ended up being charged despite that.

The hotel has a great location near Chinese Town gate and a quick stroll to find Dim Sum breakfast. The rooms are a bit small, and the noise from the street can be bothersome; however, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for exploring and the amenities come at an extra cost, which may not be ideal for all guests.

Rooms

The rooms are a bit small and noisy with street sounds, plus the double bed is tiny, possibly the smallest in America.

The hotel is situated in a vibrant location close to Union Square, with a fascinating artistic vibe and friendly staff. The rooms are cozy, although a bit small, as expected in San Francisco. The service is accommodating and friendly, making my stay enjoyable. However, the $30 'urban amenity' fee seems excessive for the limited amenities provided.

The hotel is located at the corner of two roads, offering a convenient spot across the hall from various attractions. Although the room had a broken shower lever, it was invaded by light early in the morning. The service stands out as next to China Town and around the corner from Union Square, with a delightful free happy hour hosted by the super helpful and nice staff member, Julian. The location, amidst bird droppings but close to Union Square and Chinatown, offers a mix of convenience and minor inconveniences. Dining options are traditional and regional, with an opportunity for a great stroll in the morning right in front of the Chinatown arch. However, the amenities provided are limited to just coffee or tea.

The hotel is centrally located, making it ideal for business trips or shopping ventures. While the rooms are a bit tight on space and could benefit from a refresh, the musty smell was a downside. Additionally, the lack of included breakfast made it slightly expensive.
