My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and very comfortable, offering a nice view of Chinatown and Jack Kerouac's 'The Road' script as wallpaper. However, the room had just a tiny window, limiting the view, and there wasn't enough space for my suitcase to open freely.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, while extremely comfortable, had a dampish feel, and the high price tag didn't seem justified as the value for money was lacking. On the bright side, the friendly staff provided helpful tips. The location was a definite plus for exploring San Francisco, but the extra 'urban amenity' fee raised some eyebrows. Dining options were somewhat limited despite the convenient location near Chinatown.

The service stands out as next to China Town and around the corner from Union Square, with a delightful free happy hour hosted by the super helpful and nice staff member, Julian. The location, amidst bird droppings but close to Union Square and Chinatown, offers a mix of convenience and minor inconveniences. Dining options are traditional and regional, with an opportunity for a great stroll in the morning right in front of the Chinatown arch. However, the amenities provided are limited to just coffee or tea.
