The check-in process was quick. My room included a coffee maker with provided supplies. The bed was very comfortable with great pillows.
My room smelled stale. The air conditioning unit was also noisy (it kept me awake). The bathroom needed attention, specifically some mold in the shower.

i found the location very convenient, with many restaurants nearby (including a vegan ice cream shop). the hotel gave us breakfast-to-go for our early departure, which i appreciated. they also stored our bags for several days when we went to san blas islands. the rooftop pool offered great views.
The room could use a microwave. That would make things even better.

Okay hotel with some issues

I found the rooftop area to be a plus. There was a happy hour that offered discounted drinks and snacks. The views from the roof were decent, I must say. The staff also seemed friendly and helpful .
I waited longer than expected to get to my floor. The neighborhood around the hotel looked run down, the building looked a bit dated.

The breakfast buffet included many hot food options. Fresh fruit was also available each morning between 6:30am and 10:30am. The staff helped with directions and translation. The front desk booked a flight when I couldn't complete this task myself.
The complimentary water bottle was not replenished daily, which would have been nice.
