Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a prime location, situated right between the village and the historical district, making it convenient for exploring both areas. The rooms are unique and open directly onto the beach, providing a special experience, but they do require a thorough cleaning. The service was a bit erratic, with some issues during check-in and an unusual incident involving a wash rag. The location is ideal for biking and exploring nearby attractions like Driftwood Beach and the fishing pier, although it lacks a traditional resort feel. The dining options cater to various needs, including local seafood and conference catering, but the facilities could use some improvement.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the one hand, the room was clean, but it had a strong mildew smell, although the location right on the beachfront with amazing views of Driftwood Beach was a major plus.
