My stay at Viyana Boutique Hotel was quite the experience. The location is unbeatable, right near the Temple of the Tooth and overlooking the lake. While the room was a bit small and the decor slightly outdated, I appreciated the cleanliness and modern touches. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some meals being really good, while others fell flat due to rushed service.

My room had a lovely design and was spacious, although I found it a bit small overall. The balcony view of the lake was beautiful, perfect for relaxing and watching daily life. However, the air conditioner felt old, and some features in the bathroom were less than ideal.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially when I had an issue with my bookings. They did their best to resolve it quickly, and I appreciated their willingness to assist. However, I did notice some lapses in service during breakfast, like when my order wasn't prepared on time.

Being right on the lake and just a short walk to the Temple of the Tooth was a highlight of my stay. I loved being able to explore Kandy easily and enjoy the views. It's definitely a strategic base for sightseeing.

Breakfast was impressive, especially the pancakes, though some dinners left much to be desired. The hurried service affected my enjoyment during one meal, as everything came out all at once, which made it challenging to appreciate the food. I found more enjoyment eating out in the evenings.

While the hotel has essential facilities like room service and housekeeping, I missed having a pool. The overall cleanliness and modern feel of the hotel were nice, but more amenities would enhance the experience.

I had a pretty good stay at Viyana Boutique Hotel in Kandy, thanks to its prime lakefront location and proximity to the Temple of the Tooth. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast and dinner, but the service could use a little finesse. My room was clean and comfortable but a bit small and on the older side.

My stay at Viyana Boutique Hotel in Kandy was mostly enjoyable, though I did face a few drawbacks. The location is fantastic, right in front of Kandy Lake and close to major attractions. The room was tidy and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring, but it was a bit small for my liking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the meals were absolutely delicious, making it a true highlight of my visit.
