the breakfast was AMAZING!!! there was a wide variety of savory and sweet items. the staff was friendly and helpful, which i appreciate. the on-site dinner restaurant was a definite highlight. i managed to get a reservation and the tasting menus were very nice!
i did have to walk down some stone stairs and cobblestone paths, so uneven surfaces are everywhere. a lift takes you part of the way up, but it's something to keep in mind.

the hotel is located in a magical historical setting with amazing views. the walk into the town is short. it is across a historic stone causeway, which adds to the charm of the location.

my bedroom was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed! the wifi worked very well, too. i had a lovely view over the sea from the common terrace, so i could sit and read or have a drink before dinner.

the staff was friendly enough.
The breakfast was certainly repetitive. i saw the same items every morning, and the selection seemed limited for the price. also, the room was quite small. Hardly any space to move around. We had to climb so many steps. that was unexpected.
