the location's right by the station, acceptable.
the room, a 'budget room queensize bed', felt quite cramped. the air conditioning struggled to keep the space cool. IT MADE A LOT OF NOISE. and get this, one of the glasses in the room had toothpaste residue on it. GROSS.

i appreciated the spacious room i received upon arrival, i believe this was due to an upgrade given by the friendly person at reception. all hotel staff were helpful, this. the room included all the necessary amenities i needed for a relaxing stay.
the air conditioning unit was somewhat obstructed by the curtains, this affected its efficiency and created a little noise. the bathroom was quite small, which might be inconvenient for taller guests. despite these minor issues, my stay was still positive.

the hotel provided luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, this added great convenience. a basel card was provided; it allowed free public transport and discounts at museums. the hotel incorporates a complex of three hotels.

the hotel is exceptionally well-connected by public transport with many options. it is near the central train station. a bus stop is available for airport transfers, conveniently located very close to the hotel.

the room provided contained basic necessities and decent furniture, this was very practical. there was an extra bed prepared for my child; the room was spacious enough. the room and bathroom were both very clean.

the staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and friendly, this was greatly appreciated. they swiftly repaired a faulty light switch after i reported the issue. the hotel staff was very kind and smiley.

the location was super convenient for accessing public transport! the breakfast had diverse options, including some lovely pastries and fresh fruit. the staff members were very helpful, answering all my questions with a smile. my experience was really nice and i left with a great impression.
the air conditioning made some noise during the night. though, it was still manageable.
