Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely adored my stay at this hotel. The location is unbeatable, close to the River Walk and within walking distance of many downtown attractions. The rooms were cozy and had a kitchen, complete with cute robes and a Smeg fridge offering local snacks for purchase. The service was top-notch, with staff who genuinely cared about making my visit memorable. The dining experience at the on-site restaurant was exceptional, and the facilities were well-maintained and convenient.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms felt as if we had booked a room in a cool Mexican hacienda, but they overpoweringly smelled like the inside of a Hollister throughout the stay no matter how much we aired them out. The service was extremely kind and accommodating, and the location, although a little rougher than downtown, was great for accessing public transportation and seeing sights.
I was pleased with the hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw from the Riverwalk and conveniently situated between the touristy Alamo and the up-and-coming Pearl Brewery area. The staff's exceptional service made my stay memorable, but the overpowering scent in the room was a downside that lingered throughout my visit.
