The hotel room, while nearly 3 times the price, was not much different, just a bit bigger. I was a bit disappointed with the cost for the same experience. The room, a junior suite, had character with a low rickety wood ceiling, tiled floors, and a stunning copper bath in the bedroom. However, the beauty of the room was tainted by dirt, flies, and ants, but these issues can be fixed. Service wasn't very accommodating, as they didn't attend to requests promptly and didn't provide complimentary drinking water. Also, there were not enough sunbeds for the guests. The location was peaceful during the day, allowing for relaxation but became noisy at night due to nearby entertainment. The dining experience was good, and the homemade pastries were a nice touch.

Staying above Freddys bar was a noisy but quirky experience. The room was as spectacular as our first visit to Pikes 3 years ago. The location was lively at night and peaceful during the day, giving us a balanced stay. The dining options were fantastic, offering excellent quality meals.
