Welcome to Mbh Maya Bacalar Hotel Boutique – Bacalar

The hotel offers an awesome view of the lake from the rooms but doesn't quite live up to the cleanliness standards shown in the pictures. Despite being spacious, some rooms had leftover items from previous guests, blankets that weren't ironed, and were full of hairs. Despite this, the rooms are generally clean and provide a calm atmosphere.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and had a nice view, but the bathroom was a bit small and not as clean as expected. The temperature in the rooms was uncomfortably hot at times. The service was good overall, with staff willing to please guests, although they seemed slightly understaffed. The location was beautiful and serene, but a bit isolated without any shops nearby. The dining options were average and a bit pricey for what was offered.
