the room was large and spacious with all amenities provided.
The price was too high for what i received. There was no personal service at all and i emailed beforehand about a special occasion, but it went unacknowledged. There was no response to my email and no acknowledgement either, so it was disappointing, i have stayed in many places and understand city center hotels are always premium price but for £234 room only per night, i wondered what i paid for, the room was nothing special and tired in places.

The staff was friendly and cute, from the reception to the bar! i really liked the underground garage, it made parking very easy for 20 eur and day. the air conditioning worked great, a welcome relief on hot days. the breakfast was excellent. I found everything i needed there!

unfriendly receptionistfailed explanation
Upon arrival, the receptionist was not cute. There was no smile or greeting. when i arrived for breakfast, they had no record of my advance order, which i found unacceptable. the key cards then stopped working at the usual check-out time, despite my membership granting me a late check-out. there was a failure to explain the facilities, which i consider a serious oversight.

i appreciated that i was welcomed with my dog, since she is family. the lobby offers a big space, good for relaxation. breakfast had various fresh options. the staff provided kind service.

i found the room to be a good size (plenty of space to move around). it had a very useful working area and was very clean upon arrival. i also appreciated the convenience of the little shop stocked with essentials and snacks.
my key cards stopped working at the usual check-out time, despite having a late check-out arranged as a member. this was an issue, as it caused a bit of delay getting my belongings from the room.

I received a complimentary upgrade to a very spacious room. The bed proved comfortable, and I found a Senseo coffee machine with two complementary water bottles, a lovely touch. The complimentary sweets bar was good. Rooms were pretty quiet.
