The Rutland Arms, located in the heart of Bakewell, is often praised for its tastefully decorated and well-maintained rooms, some featuring comfortable beds and modern bathrooms with both baths and showers. The hotel's restaurant is a highlight for many, with guests frequently enjoying the delicious food, particularly the roast beef, in the picture gallery setting; the 3-course for £40 option is also a popular choice. While most find the experience delightful, a few guests staying across the road from the main building have felt less connected to the hotel's overall ambiance, particularly when breakfast isn't included.
