I loved the grand stairway. It was like i was on the titanic! the hotel is inexpensive and very friendly. i also respect their approach to local wildlife, allowing the seagulls to nest. the breakfast was AMAZING!!! unlimited drinks, toast, a full english, cereal, and fresh yogurt with fruit were available.
I found a few things i didn't like. there were no plug sockets next to the bed. This was inconvenient. the staff couldn't provide an extension lead immediately. I had to wait. the alcoholic drink selection was limited, and there were no real ales.

I found the staff really helpful and friendly, especially the maintenance guy. he fixed the tv and got all the channels working. i also appreciated the guy who cleaned the shower head. It made such a difference!!!

There's a bar that hosts bingo and live acts. It made for a very entertaining evening. the variety of drinks was good and the atmosphere was lively. i enjoyed the experience a lot.

the family room included a spa bath, which my grandson loved. the room was clean, the bedding was fresh, and the towels were soft. we found everything adequate for our visit.

the hotel has a central location, which i found very convenient. it's near the town and situated above the seafront. this made exploring the area really easy and enjoyable for us.

Victorian Splendor!

The grand staircase plus the lobby struck me as warm and inviting. Food options were plentiful and tasty. I particularly appreciated the large room as it was easy to move around!
The shower curtain was poorly hanging. I also thought the kettle was burned and not usable.

The hotel faces the sea from a sun terrace! I was lucky to find sunny and pleasant weather throughout the stay. The central tramway to the beach is also next door, very convenient.
