disappointing aspects outweighed acceptable features

dusty spots street noise
the location was acceptable, putting me near some interesting shops.
The cleanliness was not good. I found it dusty in several spots. street noise was very noticeable, i really think the soundproofing needs improving. the constant noise really made it hard to relax.

The location was superb. it allowed me to explore the city center with ease. walking to local restaurants and bars was a simple pleasure. the hotel preserved old shops beautifully. I felt completely immersed in local culture. the comfy beds and room amenities were good.

attentive staff curated antiques refreshing pool
The staff was very attentive and helpful when i needed directions. the building had beautiful, carefully curated antiques. But the stairs to the second floor in the room were a little steep. the pool was a refreshing escape from the daytime heat, and i really enjoyed swimming.
the bathroom tiles felt a bit old.

a timeless retreat

helpful staff tasty option interior design tranquil space
I found the staff helpful. They addressed every request with smiles and efficiency. the breakfasts were a good start to each day with diverse, tasty options. the interior design impressed me a lot, it had a very special ambiance. the courtyard pool was a tranquil space for an afternoon rest.
The street noise was slightly noticeable. It sometimes affected the room's peacefulness.

The hotel provides daily afternoon tea by the poolside between 3pm and 4pm, a very nice tradition. the bar area provided a great atmosphere with comfortable seating. It was suitable for evening relaxation. this hotel has a very michelin honorable mention restaurant.

The hotel restaurant requires advance reservations, especially for dinner. breakfast is served a la carte in a beautifully decorated room downstairs. the great kebaya restaurant impressed me a lot. It had very nice food and a special environment. i loved all the breakfast dishes.
