the christmas decorations upon arrival captured a tender feeling.. the spacious bedroom offered good extras was great, while the sizable comfortable bed evoked a feeling of home, wrapped in luxury. i valued the quality breakfast, a gentle start to each day. i look forward to my return.
i noticed the location of the room was adjacent to the kitchen. this detracted slightly from the experience, diminishing the castle ambiance i had hoped for.

the staff were very attentive and helpful. i found the room spacious, with a window i could open. a bed was provided and was much appreciated (i have to say). the main dining room had a designated area where my dog could be with me, great.
the traffic noise from the main road was noticeable, especially when trying to sleep. it was a very slight disturbance, but i'm sensitive to noise.

check-in was smooth, and a courteous gentleman welcomed me. he provided useful information and assisted with local train details. the bar staff were attentive and professional, always ensuring guests had everything they needed.
