I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the room was below the usual 4-star standard I'm used to in Spain, it had lovely decor and beautiful covered balconies overlooking the garden. The service was outstanding with friendly and helpful staff, especially Lydia at reception. The location was perfect for exploring both the city and the countryside, but I was surprised by the need for permission at the reception for certain activities. The dining was enjoyable, with good quality and value, but coffee could have been better. The facilities were adequate, with a beautiful garden and library area.
