i found the superior double room city view spacious and well-equipped. the bathroom was clean and modern with good water pressure. my room offered great views of the city's rooftops (i really enjoyed the scenery from up there).

the hotel is a twenty-minute walk from the city center, so public transport or taxis are needed.

the location wasn't ideal (i do love being right in the thick of things). it was a bit of a walk to the main attractions. the surrounding area wasn't exactly brimming with excitement either. the walk felt longer than it probably was, but still annoying. i like being able to pop out and instantly be surrounded by stuff.

The staff was really helpful. They gave me a map of the downtown area and pointed out all the historical places. My room had every amenity I could ask for (I was so happy to see that). The hotel has a rooftop space. It was very nice to relax up there and have drinks as the sun went down.

I found the surrounding area not especially appealing. It reminded me of a business district. The walk to the central square took about 20 minutes. I would have preferred to be closer to the action.

Our family of five appreciated the spacious Classic Double Room. The room included a tea and coffee maker. Check-in was fast and efficient. The front desk staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of fresh foods. It was good value. The staff always took time to answer our questions, which I found friendly. A welcome drink upon arrival was also a plus. The hotel restaurant provided enjoyable meals (especially the pasta!). The location allowed an easy walk into the city center. The onsite bar offered a relaxing space after long days of sightseeing.

A dressing gown in the room would have provided extra luxury.
