Excellent Movie-Themed Stay
clean room great wine polite team super clean room
The room was comfortable and very clean. The hotel bar food and wine was great, I did enjoy it a lot. The team at reception were very polite plus cute from check in until leaving. Housekeeping kept the room super clean. They are lovely people too.
The balcony I had was too small. the view was a triangular courtyard. It was disappointing.

My room offered a large king bed. It was bliss after exploring. The bathroom included separate sinks that are perfect for us when getting ready. The movie theme gave character. It feels unique.

The staff gave assistance and recommendations. They added a touch for my birthday. One even were great too help us with all we needed. I really appreciate them.

A model of Hitchcock greets guests at the lobby upon arrival. The hotel also has a lounge area. I really enjoyed my time there. The theme added individuality to each room.

excellent Hotel Experience
friendly staff comfortable bed good lighting
the reception staff was quick and friendly. my room had a photo of harrison ford above the bed. the bathroom had possibly the best lighting i have experienced in a hotel. the king size bed was VERY comfortable.
the hotel is a little way to walk from the town center. it is a little more than five minutes by bus.

the hotel is near lovely little bars and cafes. it is close to the river, so walking is an option. a bus stop is right outside the hotel, so transport is straightforward.

i had a spacious room on the fourth floor. regular linen and towel changes were provided. the air con was quiet and efficient. the shower was great and very clean.

unclear tables hallway noise
The breakfast area seemed understaffed. Tables remained uncleared for extended periods. The noise from the hallway was quite noticeable in my room. I could clearly hear conversations and doors closing late into the night. This made it difficult to fall asleep.
